AIDA Cruises - Quality management on the high seas

On board, as on all cruise ships in the AIDA fleet, will also be ConSense IMS ENTERPRISE as an integrated management system. 

The software solution from the CAQ-specialist from Aachen was put into operation already during the construction phase at the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg, in order to integrate quality management into the on-board processes from the very beginning. 

Among numerous competitors, ConSense was awarded the contract to equip the German number one in terms of turnover and passengers. The ships of the AIDA fleet are operated according to the highest international quality, environmental and safety standards. For satisfied guests and highest quality, AIDA Cruises uses the professional quality assurance systems of ConSense for the special requirements of shipping. Software, used on-board, has to comply with certain rules and regulations. ConSense solutions have the necessary "Type Approval" from Germanischer Lloyd. 

Communication via satellite 

The administration, maintenance and especially the usage are decentralised, partly without connection to the land side. With replicated databases and communication via satellite, ConSense supports the actuality of information in all destinations of the AIDA fleet, such as the Mediterranean, Canary Islands, North and Baltic Sea, Caribbean, Central America, North America, Asia and Dubai. The documentation of safety instructions is carried out with ConSense software solutions as well as the complete incident management.

ConSense also integrates the maritime standards SOLAS, ISM Code, ISP, GLC MSR Standard, etc.
