Ensuring quality standards and maintaining a modern management - the deaconry Diakonisches Werk im Rhein-Kreis Neuss e.V. relies on ConSense

The Diakonisches Werk Rhein-Kreis Neuss e.V. works for the people daily with 500 employees in the regions Jüchen, Korschenbroich, Grevenbroich, Rommerskirchen and Dormagen with 500 employees.  In addition to numerous counselling services, the Diakonie-Verbund also includes three senior citizens' centres. 

The deaconry in the Rhein-Kreis Neuss district is building up its quality management system in accordance with the federal framework manual "Diakonie Siegel Pflege", which is based on the process model. The catalogue of requirements of the federal framework manual covers not only the specifications of DIN EN ISO 9002:2008, but also the requirements of the quality inspection guideline of the medical service of the health insurance companies and furthermore specific requirements from the deaconry profile. The Diakonisches Werk Rhein-Kreis Neuss e.V. has already met the requirements of the Diaconal Governance Code since 2006. The content of the codex is to strengthen the diaconal institution culture, including standards and recommendations for good and responsible institution management and transparency.

In its quality objectives, the Executive Board of Diakonisches Werk has committed itself to develop quality management further. The extensive legal foundations and requirements, as well as the quality goals that the company has set itself, lead to an increasing documentation effort for all those involved, combined with high cost and time pressure.

Since September 2009, Diakonie im Rhein-Kreis Neuss has relied on ConSense QMS ENTERPRISE to support the development of modern and process-oriented management. Equipped with the modules "Key Figures and Reporting" as well as "Action Management" and "Audit Planning", the deaconry ensures conformity with the quality standards relevant to the nursing sector. At the same time, work processes are optimised and the amount of documentation is reduced. With the LDAP interface, ConSense software solutions can be easily synchronised with existing directory services in the Diakonisches Werk Rhein-Kreis Neuss.
