Quality management in the food industry

The Immergut GmbH & Co. KG. with production facilities in Schlüchtern (Hesse) and Stavenhagen (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania) is a flexible partner and problem solver of supplying trade and industrial customers with milk-based mixed drinks, drinking yoghurt and complex special products in soft and glass packaging. The company is currently converting from International Food Standard version 4 to the International Food Standard IFS version 5. The reform of the quality management system represents a central point of the medium-term QM planning and supports the certification process. In order to meet the requirements of the corporate strategy and to standardise the processes at the production sites, the decision was made to introduce an IT-supported QM system and to replace the existing paper-based system. ConSense IMS ENTERPRISE easily convinced the Management Team due to its ease of use, attractive price-performance ratio and innovative functions. With the module for Key Figures Management, the ConSense solution also supports the demands of process management for continuous up-to-date reporting. After the initial implementation phase, Immergut will also incorporate the modules on Action Management and Measuring and Test Equipment Management.
